“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a vegan in possession of a good appetite must be in want of a veggie blogging community…”

I’m a three-year vegan and newly graduated Environmental Analysis major whose idea of heaven is a good book, a warm cup of tea, and a toasty vegan scone…or muffin (or scuffin)! This is my virtual little cuppa, to laugh, cry, chat, and, I daresay, share recipes. Ms. Austen might claim that “A large income is the best recipe for happiness I ever heard of,” but I think that a delicious vegan meal might just be enough.

Besides veganism, my great passion is photography – I’m mostly self-taught, and I’m still learning of course! I shoot with a Canon 7D and I absolutely adore it, although the moment a 5D Mk III comes out, I’m so there. My other interests include animals (especially my bull terrier Rupert!), running (I’ve done two half marathons and look forward to running a full), yoga, and even classical guitar, though I suck at it!

I can’t decide whether I want to be a naturopath, nutritionist, writer/editor, restaurateur, or photographer – which can be a little overwhelming at times; but I’m extremely grateful to have such a diverse range of passions, so you’ll never hear me complain about it! I’m confident I’ll end up where I need to be.

Thanks for gracing my blog with your presence; I love making new friends, so feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or just to chat at norakuby AT gmail DOT com!

Remember, “Happiness in marriage is entirely a matter of chance,” but eating in a way that does not harm animals, the planet, and ourselves is completely within our power, and every day – three times a day! – we are fortunate enough to have the chance to make the right choice.

If Pride & Vegudice is agreeable in your eyes, you can become further acquainted with my photography at my 365 photo blog, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Nora Found There, as well as Nora Kuby Photography.
